When you use our website contact form we collect:

  • Your telephone number
  • Your postcode
  • The content of your message

We also collect limited technical data automatically, including your IP address and browser type, via our web server logs. We use Google reCAPTCHA on our contact form to prevent spam; reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

How we use your data

We use the information you provide solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or booking request
  • Provide and manage the veterinary services you have requested
  • Maintain clinical records as required by our professional regulatory obligations

We do not use your data for marketing, and we do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except where required by law or professional regulation.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of:

  • Contract — to fulfil a veterinary appointment or service you have requested
  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries sent via our contact form
  • Legal obligation — to maintain veterinary clinical records as required by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS)

How long we keep your data

Enquiry data from the contact form that does not result in an appointment is deleted within 12 months. Client and clinical records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in line with RCVS guidance, or longer where legally required.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to our legal obligations)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113
